Renewable Minigrid Design and Optimization

NRECA International has the dedicated staff and decades of experience to help mini-grid developers and financiers to plan, engineer, construct, and operate renewable energy mini-grids with best-in-class reliability and climate resilience. The team’s  longstanding experience in developing and designing national electrification programs provides the team with the insight necessary to determine how when, where and how to design mini grids that can best serve communities – for the long term. The team’s expertise in this area can address the rapid growth of off-grid areas throughout Sub-Saharan Africa in support of the SEforAll objectives. This is done by working with local and international stakeholders to design the most suitable renewable mini grid option or optimize/improve an existing system.
