Volunteer Spotlight

This year, electric co-op volunteers from Alabama, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee traveled to rural parts of Guatemala to construct power lines and install electric wiring in homes so families can turn on that light switch for the first time. We asked a few of them to reflect on their experience and what they’re grateful for. These volunteers brought electricity access to Las Peñas, Guatemala.

Get to know the families in Las Peñas.
