NRECA International collaborated with partners in the U.S. Cooperative Development Council (OCDC) in the publication of “Measuring Cooperative Success: New Challenges and Opportunities in Low-and Middle Income Countries.”

The publication is the first product from the Measurements for Tracking Indicators of Cooperative Success (METRICS) collaborative initiative among OCDC partners. The METRICS initiative was conceived to identify and quantify, to the greatest extent possible, the key characteristics and indicators for cooperative success. The publication initially focuses on how cooperatives address market failure in developing countries and then discusses the four categories of measurements for tracking cooperative success.

More information on the OCDC’s METRICS and CLARITY initiatives can be found on OCDC’s CLARITY website.
