Launch a Gift of Light Campaign

Get Ready

Assign a coordinator to work with us. We will work with them closely, answer questions and provide all the support needed to help make sure everything runs smoothly.

Once it’s official, we’ll send an information kit to help build awareness with employees on who we are, what we do, and why they should consider donating to NRECA International. This kit will also have all the necessary forms and instructions on how to launch the campaign.

Set

Send an email to the staff about the Gift of Light campaign, using materials from the information kit. Invite us to help you introduce this campaign during a staff meeting!

Combine this with other annual fundraising campaigns, such as United Way, and give employees more choices and chances to participate — this raises more funds for more than one cause.

Launch

Announce the launch of the Gift of Light program to your employees! Distribute (and collect) employee donation forms. Donations are made to NRECA International.

At the end of each quarter, send us the list of employees who made donations and a check. Please mail this to: NRECA International, PO Box 715472, Philadelphia, PA 19171-5472.

We will send thank you letters to the donors and tax receipts will be mailed at the end of each year. NRECA International is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and all donations are tax-exempt.
